Really nice hotel. Very quirky. The staff were very polite and helpful. Our room was clean and tidy. There was some building works going on, having scaffolding up on the front, with sheeting over it, so there was no view. But work has to be done at some point, and just so happened to be when we were staying. I did open my curtain one morning to find a workman outside my window, its a good job I was dressed! In a great location in the centre, not too far from the docks. We walked everywhere whilst away. We parked our car in the NCP car park in the Capital Building. I dont thinki I'd want to park there again! Really dark and dingy. We were coming down the stairs inside, and it was very bad of urine and smoke. On the way back to the car when we were leaving, there was a homeless man asleep in one of the doorways, which we couldnt get access to. Upon leaving, we could not find the pay machine. It was near the entrance BEHIND a vending machine, and there were no signs to say PAY HERE. We have left the car park, but couldnt get back in because we would have to had paid twice. So uopn walking back in, I saw the pay machine. When I put my reg plate in, it had no record (probably because I had left), I tried paying online on my phone, and just as I had put all the card details in, the page froze. So I was unsure whether the payment had gone through. You had up to 24 hours to pay it. I tried calling the customer service number, but was on hold for 15 minutes. Suffice to say, the payment did go through, but I wouldnt like to park in there again. If it was brighter, and wasnt so damp and smelly, I might next time. It is very confusing for someone who has never been in that car park. The food is the hotel was delicious. We had a meal in the restaurant in the evening. It was a restaurant that Marco Pierre-White designed the menu for. Again, staff were very courteous. I would stay here again if the car park was updated/more secure from people wandering in to sleep.

We missed our connecting train to Liverpool due to a delayed flight and so were a day late getting to the hotel. We had contacted them through booking.com (not recommended) advising of our delay but they hadn't received it. On arrival, the person on the from desk was incredibly welcoming and very sympathetic to our situation. We were advised that the room was still available and were even fast tracked through our check in so we could access the room immediately. A small gesture that or course meant a lot to us as weary travellers. We were really happy with the service and quality of the room. There were some renovations happening but we found it minimally disruptive. Breakfast was great and the dining room provided quick but thorough service. All staff were friendly and efficient. The location was great for the purposes of our visit albeit a little bit of a walk from the centre of the city.

Property was very clean and had a basic lavish feel. Very welcoming reception area and was greeted welcomely by the receptionist. All receptionist were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely, bed was very comfortable. And had a peaceful quiet night sleep every night. They were very attentive to food allergies which was great to see. They had the option of soya or almond milk with porridge at breakfast. It would have been great if they had Oat milk on offer too but I had soya milk and it was nice. Overall, the property was lovely and In a great location. Only 20 min from the airport. Only 10/15 min from Anfield by taxi. If I came back to Liverpool I’d stay here again.

The staff were lovely and very welcoming. The waiters and waitresses were very helpful and quickly went straight to get what you asked for. We had a young lad with dark hair and glasses on both days and he couldn't be any more happy to help and nothing was an issue for him so we would like to give him a shout of for being so lovely with us when we stayed. Being able to stream our phone to the TV was amazing! We loved that there was a speaker also in the bathroom. Shower was lovely and the beds were extremely comfy!! We definitely enjoyed sleeping in this hotel it was very comfortable.
